Visiting Scholars
Visiting Scholars are friends of our students and faculty members and of The William Newman Department of Real Estate. They are well established and respected in the real estate business world. All of them have a Ph.D degree from a respectable University and many of them are well published in both academic and practitioner journals. Some of them have publication records that can qualify them for appointment as a full professor in a good business school.
The scholars will speak to our students and serve as guest lecturers in our classes. They may also co-teach a class with our faculty members in the future. More importantly, they will provide our faculty members with the most up-to-date information about issues and practices in the real world. In other words, they will ensure that our courses are not only rigorous, but also relevant to the field.
