Undergraduate Students
Independent Study (MKT 5000)
An Independent Study is a special course that requires you to complete a semester-long marketing project. To get permission for an Independent Study, you must do the following:
1. identify a topic for a project
2. find a faculty advisor who is willing to supervise you for the project
3. submit a proposal for the project to the advisor and get it approved
4. request the faculty advisor to advise the Chair and state that they are willing to guide you
Please note that the department cannot help you in finding an advisor or in identifying a topic for the Independent Study.Graduate Students
