When will the International Business program begin?
Baruch College plans to offer in the Fall of 2010 a major in International Business (IB) as part of its 124-credit BBA offering within the Zicklin School of Business. (Baruch College already offers an International Business program leading to the Masters of Business Administration degree and that program is the fifth most popular major)
Where will the new International Business major reside?
The new major in International Business will reside in the current Department of Marketing and International Business and provide a unifying influence for Baruch College. The increase in the number of international courses and the greater frequency of existing offerings directly attributable to the new International Business major will augment and complement the existing international marketing track associated with the Marketing major. Students in this new program will also benefit from the ability to take professional certificate courses in International Trade Operations and Procedures (ITOPs) offered through Baruch’s School of Continuing and Professional Studies (CAPS).
