The CIS programs at Zicklin provide a strong foundation in the business and managerial issues related to information technologies. Special interest is given to emerging technologies and their role as facilitators of strategic advantage in the marketplace. We offer degree programs at the undergraduate, (BBA) masters, (MBA and MS) and doctoral (Ph.D.) levels. For more information, visit CISnet.

Our programs consider state-of-the-art technologies such as object-oriented languages, e-business principles and technologies, networks and telecommunications, the Web, electronic commerce, and IT in the financial markets. CIS is a business/technical discipline, and students receive formal training in finance and investment, accountancy, and management- key areas where information technologies are applied.

The U.S. Department of Labor Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) predicts that employment of IS managers will grow faster than the average for all occupations through the year 2016. The BLS also indicates that technical knowledge is very important for many managerial positions. CIS at Baruch is proud to provide top-quality undergraduate and masters' education in these fields.

With top-quality PhD faculty, a prime location, and an institution that values teaching quality, Baruch's CIS programs are the right choice for your career preparation.
