The MarkLab is both a place and a program. Its mission is to serve as a nexus between the students and faculty in the Marketing department and industry professionals.

The place aspect of MarkLab includes:

• Providing a technologically sophisticated lab for team-based projects
• Providing an environment where industry professionals can work one-on-one with students
• Allowing students majoring in marketing and advertising to build relationships with each other that they will carry into their professional lives

The program aspect of MarkLab includes:

• Providing industry with a means of accessing qualified talent from our student pool
• Providing a forum for industry and academic exchange, with special emphasis on the role of diversity in a global communications environment.
